Te Puke Thunder : ウィキペディア英語版
Te Puke Thunder

Te Puke Thunder is a strain of marijuana that originated in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty on the coast of New Zealand's North Island in the early 1970s. At the time it was said to be the leading marijuana strain in terms of strength and taste.
Te Puke Thunder was the first popular polyploid marijuana strain developed in New Zealand, meaning the plants have three or more chromosomes per cell, and therefore have larger buds with higher potency.
Due to the Bay of Plenty having the ideal climate for growing cannabis, Te Puke Thunder is world-renowned and has been said to have been used in Amsterdam's brown cafes.
In 2011, there was some controversy in New Zealand when a 'legal high' party pill produced appropriated the Te Puke Thunder name for his brand.
